Proper Use
The user agrees to use Brokenaxe only for lawful purposes and that:
- he/she shall not (authorise or permit any other party) to receive or transmit material which is in violation of any law or regulation, which is obscene, threatening, menacing, offensive, defamatory, in breach of confidence, harmful to minors, in breach of any intellectual property right (including copyright), or otherwise unlawful;
- he/she shall not (authorise or permit any other party) to impersonate any person or entity, falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity;
- he/she shall not (authorise or permit any other party) to upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters, "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation, except in those areas that are designated for such purpose;
- he/she shall not (authorise or permit any other party) to knowingly or recklessly transmit any electronic material (including viruses) through the Service which shall cause or is likely to cause detriment or harm, in any degree, to computer systems owned by Brokenaxe or other Internet users;
- he/she shall not (or authorise or permit any other party) collect or store personal data about other users via the website or any other associated features, functionality or services including the forum or blogs;
Any attempt on the part of a user to access or modify unauthorised computer system information or to interfere with normal system operations, whether on the equipment of Brokenaxe or of any computer system or network that is accessed via Brokenaxe communication services is an offence at law and shall make you liable for any infringement and for direct, indirect, consequential loss and/or any other damage that may arise out of such attempt.
The user is reminded that criminal penalties may also arise under the Computer Misuse Articles enacted under the Maltese Criminal Code (of the laws of Malta).
